Terms of Use

Road to '26 · last updated 7 June 2026

Welcome to Road to '26 (the “Game”), a free browser game at roadto26.app. By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Game.

1. It’s just a game

Road to '26 is provided free, for entertainment only. Player ratings, grades, match results and everything else in the Game are invented for fun and are not a real assessment of any player, team or tournament.

2. Not official, not affiliated

The Game is an independent, unofficial fan project. It is not associated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to FIFA, any football association or governing body, the 2026 World Cup, any national team, club, competition, broadcaster, sponsor, or any of the players or people referenced. Names, nations and related references are used only to identify real people and teams within a non-commercial fan game; all rights remain with their respective owners, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

3. No warranties

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or available at any time, and we may change, suspend or shut it down at any point without notice.

4. No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the Game accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Game. You use it entirely at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under law.

5. Team names

You may give your squad a name. Any name you submit is shown publicly — for example on the leaderboard and activity ticker — to everyone who plays. By submitting a name you confirm it is not offensive, hateful, abusive, misleading or infringing, and does not contain personal information. Submitted names are filtered automatically, and we may change, hide or remove any name at any time, for any reason, without notice. Please don’t submit anything you wouldn’t want shown publicly.

6. Children

The Game is suitable for a general audience. It has no user accounts, no messaging between players, no advertising and no purchases. It collects no personal information (see below). The only thing anyone can type is a squad name — if you are a child, please do not enter your real name or any personal details. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review these terms.

7. Privacy & data

The Game does not collect personal data. There are no accounts and no login. The only information you can submit is a squad name, which is stored and displayed publicly alongside your squad’s rating; please do not include personal information in it. The Game also keeps simple, anonymous totals (such as the number of squads played and World Cups won) that are not linked to any individual and cannot identify anyone. There is no advertising or third-party tracking. If you choose to contact us by email, see the Contact section below.

8. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the Game — for example, by attempting to break, overload, scrape or tamper with it, or by submitting harmful content. We may restrict or block access if you do.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Contact

For questions, bug reports, or to ask us to remove a team name, email email us (hello [at] roadto26 [dot] app). The Game itself collects no personal data; if you email us, we will of course receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use that only to respond to you and for no other purpose, and we don’t share it.
